Thoughts On Michael Nye's Exhibit

This past Wednesday I had the pleasure of going to an audio exhibit on the topic of hunger in America. Even though it was for an assignment I felt that it was a good experience to have.

The Stories
The stories that the people he interviewed shared about there experience with hunger were very powerful. To hear a story about the lack of food by a fellow American saddened me because I felt like, we as a people can help with that problem.

What I learned
I didn't learn much more than I already knew about hunger. However, the percentage of the American population that is going hungry shocked me.

Storytelling
I could tell that when Mr. Nye was recording his subjects he allowed them to fully express their thoughts, which is something I noticed I do not do all the time.

Evaluating
Taking a critical look at my last blog posts I noticed that I can either be too detailed or too braud. So for this post I tried to find a happy medium with a simple Q&A format.

Critiques of Pro Blogs

As a rookie to the blog world I am still trying to find my groove. To find my niche I follow two proffesionals that have blog sites. Head Krack and Rock T (click on names to view blog page) who are both in the radio industry.

When looking at Head Krack's blog page you can tell that there was a lot of time spent in the designing. All the content (videos, advertisements, and links) were well organized and easy to navigate through.

Rock T's blog has the feel of an seldom used myspace page. The content was a bit crowded together and not as well organized as Head Kracks, but the content is more personable.

However, the content on both pages are interesting and informative (if you follow the hip-hop radio industry). When you have a chance I advise you to visit both blog pages, so you can form your own opinion.

First Project

A while back a good friend of mine approached me and asked if I could make him a highlight tape. This was my first time doing one but I think it came out pretty good...Let know what you think
